   Cricket is one of the most popular sports in the world. There are many cricket players are there for whom cricket found a place as a popular sport.But in the same way there are some cricketers who are/were very much talented and capable, for them cricket is even more popular game now a days.

Here is the list of top 10 most popular cricketers of all time:

10. Brett Lee: 

  He is known by his nickname 'Binga' is former Australian cricketer. He was recognized as the 2nd fastest bowlers in the world after Shoaib Akhtar. He is an atheistic fielder and useful lower-order batsman with a quiet good batting average in test cricket and some good hitting capabilities in ODI and T20 cricket. He along with Mike Hussey hold the record partnership for 7th wicket for Australia.

9. M. Muralitharan:

    Muttiah Muralitharan is a former Sri Lankan cricketer who was rated as one of the best test bowler ever.He is the first wrist spinning off spinner in the history of the game. He is the highest wicket taker in the test and one day cricket. He is the only player who took 10 wickets in a test in 4 consecutive test matches. He is also the player who took 50 wickets or more against every test playing nations.

   The legend of Pakistan Cricket is widely regarded as one of the fastest and most feared bowlers in the history of international cricket. He was called as " Pindi Express ".In 1999 he captured eight wickets in the Asian test championship match in Calcutta , India. In that match he took the wickets of the great Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid in successive deliveries. He is also known as one of only three bowlers to have ever broken the 100 mph barriers in cricket history ,with a delivery of 101.3 mph , during the 2003 world cup aginst England, and this recorded as the fastest bowl of till date.

He is also the player who smashed maximum no of sixes in ODI cricket. He also very much popular for his captaincy in IPL for Mumbai Indians.

He led the Indian team to the no 1 position in ICC rankings of test cricket for the first time. Under his leadership India won 2007 ICC world T20 and 2011 ICC ODI world cup. In 2013 India won ICC champion trophy then also it was under his captaincy.

This was the top ten from author's view but some others may have other choices. But I also accept there are lots of popular players are there who made the game of cricket so much popular. Here I wrote about top ten only.
